-
Lombardi’s has unbelievable service and is located right off the 6 line and
very close to John’s and other famous NY pizza places.
- John’s is also located off the 6 line and was
1 of only 2 pizza places out of 5 we tried on our first brief NY pizza tour
that made it to our list. You will see one of the other “famous” New York
places on our “Never Again” list later.
- Taconelli’s has good pizza but awful service.
First you must reserve your dough days in advance – which is neat in it’s
own way. Then, when you get there, it will take no less then 1 hour or as
many as 3 hours to get your pizza’s delivered to your table (unless they
recognize you, then you get it right away and the rest of the people have to
wait). We gave this place a couple chances and this was a common theme each
time. If you can go on an off time it is worth trying. For us it goes on the
“Never Again” list as this place coasts carelessly on its name.
